What, do you know that your body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have of God and you are not your own? For you are brought with a price: therefore Glorify God in your body, and in your spirit which are God's.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Gwendolyn Drummond married her best friend Fred on July 22, 2013. They reside in Philadelphia and are the proud parents of four adult children and two grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys exercising, reading, and traveling with her husband. She holds a Master's of Social Work degree from Widener University and a Bachelor's of Science in Health Policy and Administration from Penn State University.  She is passionate about serving vulnerable families and children.

Gwendolyn possesses strong leadership skills as it relates to courage, self-awareness and determination. Her work has allowed her to broaden and deepen her understanding as it relates to building effective relationships.

She accepted Christ at a young age while worshiping at Deliverance Evangelist Church and is currently a member of Redeemed Worship Center Church under the leadership of Dr. Rosa Drummond. She is active in their marriage fellowship.

Within the past year she has adopted a healthy lifestyle which has been a challenge for her in the past.  In addition to clean eating, she attends boot camp 4 times a week at under the leadership of David A. Miller for Good Bodies and Temple Building Fitness. She also takes a spin class weekly that she enjoys with her husband.

There are times of hardship and trials that can threaten a marriage. She understands the importance of setting aside time daily as couples to pray together and read his word daily. Although two is stronger than one, a marriage joined together under God and built on his promises and Word is stronger.

Her favorite scripture is "Though one may be overpowered two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken" (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
